Biographies can be super interesting, but I think that’s more because other people almost always seem more interesting than me.

I’m a Navy brat, and probably one of the least traveled I’ve ever met. Our family spent a lot of time in So Cal. Once Dad retired, I got a chance to experience life in the great Northwest. The first four years of all that green scenery kept me in the kind of awed wonder that made up for the lack of sunshine. When the awe wore off, I moved back down into California, choosing the Sacramento metropolitan zone for the family ties.

My husband and I met at a New Year’s Eve party a few years back. My dear husband has been wonderful at helping to make the best of every twist and turn in our lives, including encouraging me to go back to school now that I’ve figured out what I want to be when I grow up.
